Stories From the Western underground Railroad

Most people know about Harriett Tubman taking escaping slaves north from Maryland to Philadelphia, but many do not know about the Kansas Abolitionist conducting an organized series of safe houses on a week long trip from southeast Kansas north through the southeast corner of Nebraska then across the Missouri River where they were turned over to the Iowa UGRR network for transport to Chicago.

This website is dedicated to telling that history.
