Freedom Seekers Premiere

Producer Gary Jenkins announced the premiere screening of his latest feature length documentary, Freedom Seekers: Stories from the Western Underground Railroad. This event will be held in the Truman Forum at the Kansas City Public Library, Plaza Branch on February 15th, 2012. The Library will host a reception at 6:00 PM and the film begins at 6:30. The screening will be  followed by a Q & A panel. Gary Jenkins, Dr. William O. Wagnon, Washburn University, and Jimmy Johnson will be on hand to take questions.     Eager to see this…Is there any chance of getting a copy or seeing it before that time? You interviewed us about the Lawrence UGR
    for the film, Brown’s trip through kansas, through Lawrence Ks. etc.
